ABOUT US
Established in 1970, Acme Electric Company began in a garage with a 4-man team. The company was purchased in 1979 by Buster Lucas and a partner, with a slightly larger work force of 7. The business steadily grew to well over 100 employees and offered a wide range of electrical services.
We have been at our current location on South Kilroy in Turlock, California since 1987. In 2010, Buster bought out his partner and streamlined the company to specialize in industrial, commercial, agricultural and electrical design. Today, services include new construction, engineering, underground locating, street lighting, Infra-red testing, and Title 24 while maintaining a full service department for industrial, commercial, residential and agricultural needs.
Our 10,000 square-foot office, shop and warehouse space allows us to maintain large on-hand inventories which helps keep our prices low. We maintain a diverse inventory of equipment to have the capacity to handle any type of job. Acme Electric has a complete fleet of work trucks, bucket trucks, wheel trenchers with backhoe and scissor lifts to ensure the job is done correctly and efficiently. Our current staff of 30 employees has a combined work experience of over 300 years and all of our electricians are certified.

Acme Electric has done numerous industrial projects in central California including almond and walnut hulling operations, large factory construction and maintenance, cold storage facilities, poultry operations, and steel fabrications plants.
Agricultural Services
Acme Electric has provided the agricultural communities of Central California with dedicated and outstanding service for more than 30 years, including 24/7 emergency service to keep your operation on line. We specialize in new construction and remodels, generator installation, upgrades and energy saving alternatives to old style systems & lighting, and maintenance and diagnostic services.
Public Infrastructure
Acme Electric has a complete fleet of underground trenching and boring equipment along with experienced technicians that have worked on a variety of construction projects including street lighting installation, underground utility installation, gas piping installation, parking lot lighting and repairs, service and maintenance.

We feel very fortunate to have served Turlock and its surrounding communities since 1970. Acme Electric has the expertise and experience for all your residental electrical projects, including custom lighting, remodeling, panel upgrades, security lighting, outdoor kitchens, landscape lighting and more.
